This session will explore the Alternative Breaks program and preview the wide variety of options to travel, learn and serve communities across the country. Alternative Breaks provide students with a week-long opportunity to travel across the United States during their spring breaks to engage in service with the local community while also learning about social issues and forming relationships with peers. Alternative Breaks are open to all students and are an incredible way to travel, learn and serve. This session will explore experiential learning opportunities offered for students to enhance their academic learning through Education Abroad programs across the world. Parents and families will hear directly from Education Abroad staff about the various options for studying abroad including locations, program types and areas of study. Additionally, families will learn how to prepare, plan and finance Education Abroad experiences.
This session will share about the variety of housing options and important questions to consider for students and families when determining the best housing option for future years. University Housing will detail on-campus options, Off-Campus Life will provide considerations for students seeking to move off-campus and a local real estate partner will share information on the Fort Collins housing market.

This session will explore experiential learning opportunities offered for students to enhance their academic learning while at CSU. Parents and families will hear from several campus offices, specifically on service-learning Alternative Break programs and education abroad programs that take students to both domestic U.S. and international communities.
