Homecoming 5K Gets Course Correction

CSU’s 37th annual Homecoming 5K is offering participants a new course – and a chance to give a final farewell to Hughes Stadium.

The popular 5K race, which annually attracts 2,000 or more participants, is set for 8 a.m. Oct. 14 at Hughes Stadium. The course is a departure from the race’s traditional home on the CSU Oval. The race was moved this year to accommodate game-day activities at CSU’s new on-campus stadium.

The Homecoming Race is an event for the whole family. Both runners and walkers of all ages are welcome to participate in the 5K race and children are invited to take part in the free Kids Fun Run at 9 a.m. led by CAM the Ram.
