Homecoming Festival

1:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Keeping with this year’s theme, the Homecoming Festival combines traditions of the past and introduces a new feature. The First Ever Homecoming Music Festival begins at 1:30pm and features two regional bands: The Heyday kicks off the event, followed by Meese at 3:15pm. Festival fun includes music, family-friendly games, and food vendors. Following the parade, the final round of the CSU Idol competition precedes the traditional Pep Rally. Featuring Head Coach Steve Fairchild with members of the Football team and the CSU Marching Band, the Pep Rally kicks off the traditional leg of the festival including the bonfire, lighting of the “A” and fireworks display.

Alumni are invited to attend the Choir Concert, followed by a reception. Past CSU Choral Conductors and Emeritus faculty will be honored. Alumni are also invited to perform with the current CSU Choirs and the Marching Band during pre-game on Saturday. A general admission ticket will be provided.

Homecoming 5K Race

The Homecoming Race is an event for the whole family. Both runners and walkers of all ages are welcome to participate in the 5K race around the beautiful CSU campus. Children are invited to take part in the free Kids Fun Run led by Cam the Ram. As every year passes, more and more students and community members join in the fun. Bonfire Press - visit a letterpress imprint shop

Come visit a letterpress imprint shop. Tours of the facility will illustrate the process of letterpress imprint in which a reversed, raised surface is inked and then pressed into a sheet of paper. At Bonfire, the resulting products are poetry chapbooks and broadsides. This printing process, integral to the political and social development of the United States of America, is an opportunity for graduate students to learn about the history of printing and bookmaking. Family Weekend Golf Tournament - CANCELLED

Enjoy playing the oldest course in Fort Collins. Alumni, current students, and their families will tee off at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start. The Texas Scramble format is fun, relaxing, and open to all levels of players. A limited number of carts are available at the club house for an extra charge. Award ceremony follows.
