CAMPUS OPEN HOUSES (no registration necessary)
Saturday, October, 10, 2009
10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
CSU Health Network Open House
As a leader in the changing face of health care the CSU Health Network is taking a new, integrative approach to counseling and medical services. We are here to provide students with seamless, comprehensive and innovative health care services. The CSU Health Network is a first-of-its kind collaboration of body and mind health care on a university campus in the country. The integrated service enables students to enter the same building and meet with members of the Network’s multidisciplinary health care team. Visitors are welcome to stop by the Hartshorn building during the open house for treats and tours.
Academic Village Open House
The Academic Village is a state-of-the-art community that integrates academic experiences into the living environment. The Academic Village is the first of its kind on the CSU campus and is serving as a model for future housing projects. Each community has a building in the village that integrates classroom and experiential learning into the living area with programming space, seminar and meeting rooms, multi-media classrooms, faculty involvement, and more.
The latest addition to the Academic Village, Aspen Hall, which is pursuing LEED Gold-certification, will host student room tours during this event. You are welcome to eat at the Rams Horn Dining Center following your tour. The all-you-can-eat lunch is $4.90/per person or if you are a parent and accompanied by your residence hall student, your meal is complimentary!
